About Zoo Teruntum 

Conservation and wildlife education are the main goals of Zoo Teruntum. The zoo is actively involved in a number of conservation efforts, including habitat restoration and endangered species breeding programs. This hybrid zoo aims to motivate and teach future generations for wildlife protection. Although considered as a mini zoo, it is commended for all ages. Here you get to see and interact with various tropical birds, reptiles, mammals, orangutans, etc.

How to Reach 

By Car

Traveling from Kuala Lumpur it is a 257 km drive consisting of 3 hours 5 minutes. The fastest is the E8 route. Get on the  Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar from Jln Raja Laut, To Jalan Kuching (Utara) and Jln Kuching/Route 2, drive for 2.7 km. Then follow the E8  to Route 231 in Kampung Padang Perdana, Kuantan. Take exit 833-Kuantan from E8, and drive for another 233 km. Continue to Route 231. Take Jln Bypass Kuantan/Laluan Persekutuan 3/Route 3/AH18, Jalan Semambu and Jalan Tengku Muhamad to Jalan Padang Golf and drive for another 20.7 km till you reach the final destination. 

By Public Transport

Traveling on Wednesday from Kuala Lumpur is an advantage as you will get multiple buses covering the route in the shortest time.
